  • After looking at them -it was like "end of the world" quiet disturbing , I could feel the strife, supressed anger and all those negative vibes....and you have mentioned "The Best of the Best" ??? Or do we have more in store.....!
    Sometime back I read that we are becoming so insensitive that even most gruesome sight will be able to jolt us only for some time.....!!

  • Yes, precisely what I felt after seeing those photographs. The best of the best from the perspective of photography alone. The amount of emotions that these photographs capture is actually what every photographer yearns for.

  • It is indeed unfortunate, isn't it? Some of these photos have been taken under extreme stress, danger to personal safety. Some of these photos stand as complete as an entire story. The awards are well deserved. I am sure there are other awards in other places in the world where happier emotions run their course.
